In 2020, while living in my first apartment in Lindbergh, Georgia, I was caught in a random apartment fire that displaced more than 150 residents, including myself. My renters insurance covered nothing, leaving me at 21 to start over from nothing, having lost everything I owned.
Soon after, I relocated to Brookhaven, GA then sub-leased my place to set off into the unknown: beginning a transformative journey through South America.
