A Year Nomading in South America

In April 2022, less than six months into founding my marketing agency Henge, I took another big leap of faith. Fresh out of a life-altering breakup with my partner of three years and Georgia State University, I decided to full send it to Buenos Aires, Argentina.

I needed space. A reset. A clean energetic slate. A friend, Daiana who lived in Rosario, Argentina, influenced me to experience her country firsthand.

Side note: I spoke exactly zero Spanish at the time :p

The plan was three months. The reality was that divine flow took over. I found myself meeting travelers, chasing side quests, immersing in new cultures, and absorbing lessons from the world itself.

That flow carried me to Brazil, guided by Daniel, a new friend, fellow agency owner, and digital nomad mentor. Together we explored Puerto Iguazú with its jaw-dropping waterfalls between Argentina, Brazil, and Uruguay, then hopped over to Belo Horizonte for two months before venturing deep into Manaus to spend time with the Indigenous people of the Amazon.

From there, Colombia called. I roamed Medellín and surrounding towns, soaking up nature, practicing Spanish, and connecting with incredible people, all while scaling my agency to $35,000+ per month.

It was wild, it was liberating, and it was a masterclass in trusting the unknown journey of life.
